Using Minsaur together

Terms and conditions

The rules for using Minsaur as a family.

Draft updated:
Version: [CONFIRM: version number and effective date at publication]

1. Who provides Minsaur

Minsaur is provided by Nidhi Yadav, an individual based in India ("we", "us", or "our"), at Near Radha Krishna Mandir, Sector 51, Gurgaon, Haryana 122003, India.

By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Minsaur.

2. Parent accounts and learners

A family account is created and held by an adult aged 18 or older (the "parent"). The parent adds learner profiles for children aged 5 and over, and can also add adult learners.

By creating an account, the parent confirms that they are 18 or older and that they are the parent or legal guardian of each child they add, with the right to decide on that child's use of Minsaur.

The parent is responsible for:

3. Learners aged 18 and over

Minsaur stays family-led for every learner. A learner who is 18 or older, either when added or when they reach 18 by the date of birth on record, must accept these terms themselves before continuing.

Until they accept, their learning features are paused. They can still read our policies, contact us, and ask for their profile to be deleted. Pausing does not delete their records and does not affect other learners. If a date of birth was entered incorrectly, the parent can correct it.

4. What Minsaur is, and is not

Minsaur is an educational app. It helps children and teens learn about money through family money records, savings goals, tasks, stars, and parent-reviewed entrepreneurship activities.

5. Free access at launch

Minsaur does not take payments at present. During our launch period, each eligible learner receives 365 days of free access to all available features.

We will remind the parent before a learner's free access ends. Paid plans, prices, and their terms will be shown before anyone can buy them.

6. Using the app responsibly

Please do not use Minsaur for anything unlawful, try to access another family's information, get around security or parent approvals, or deliberately disrupt the service.

Only add content you are entitled to share. Do not type passwords, card details, identity numbers, home addresses, or other people's personal details into notes or feedback.

If an account is used in a way that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, we may limit or suspend it. Unless it is urgent or the law prevents it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to respond.

7. Your content and our app

What your family enters stays yours. You allow us to store and use it only to provide Minsaur to your family, as described in our Privacy statement.

The Minsaur app, name, design, and learning content belong to us. You may use them for your family's personal learning, but not copy, resell, or reverse engineer them.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy statement explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. Crash reports are always on so we can fix problems. Usage measurement is optional, covers only the parent's own use of the app, and can be turned on or off at any time in Personal settings; see App usage and crash reports.

9. Closing an account

The parent can permanently delete the whole family account, or a single learner, in the app at any time. Deletion cannot be undone. If you cannot use the app, see Your choices and requests. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

We may close Minsaur or a feature in future. If we do, we will give reasonable notice and a chance to ask for a copy of your family's information.

10. Changes

We improve Minsaur over time, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell parents in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you keep using Minsaur after that date, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, you can close your account at any time (see section 9). Earlier versions are available on request.

11. Responsibility and your rights

We work to keep Minsaur available and accurate but cannot promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. We are not responsible for real-world decisions or activities a family takes based on the app, to the extent the law allows.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian law that cannot be limited by agreement, including consumer rights and any refund rights under app store rules.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. You may still approach a consumer commission or other authority available to you.
